How to Make Japanese Style Potato Salad

  • 5 tbsp kewpie mayonnaise
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp rice vinegar

How to make:


  1. Peel and cut into cubes boiled potatoes with water higher than the potatoes with the addition of 1/2 tsp salt until tender. Drain, put the potatoes back into the hot pot again while shaking so that there is no leftover cooking water, pour in the vinegar, mash with a fork or potato masher.
  2. Cut the sausage into pieces and boil briefly, drain. Carrots boiled until cooked, drain. Add the pieces of kyuri (remove the seeds), carrots, sausage, egg pieces, salt, pepper, mayonnaise, sugar, stir well with the potatoes, taste correction.
