How to Make Nasi kandar
This food is traditional food from Malaysia
- 5 ounces lean beef (chopped)
- Onion 1 grain
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Ginger 1 cm
- Bay leaves 10 pieces
- Lemongrass 1 stalk (bruised)
- 1 tomato (cut into 2 parts)
- Curry powder 1 tbsp
- Water 1 glass
- Cooking oil
- Pandan leaves 3 strands
- Sugar and salt to taste
How to make:
- Grind the onions, garlic and ginger. Add water and stock
- Boil the mixture, add bay leaf
- Add other ingredients such as meat, tomatoes and lemongrass
- Cook until the meat becomes tender and the gravy is perfectly absorbed
- Taste test, add sugar and salt to taste.
- Serve with warm rice
