How to Make Nasi Liwet and Rawon
This food is traditional food from Indonesia
Ingredients:
- 500 grams of rice
- 500 ml of coconut milk
- 2 bay leaves
- 3 pandan leaves
- 2 tablespoons of lime juice
- Sugar and salt
- 500 grams of free-range chicken
- 2 segments of galangal
- 2 segments of turmeric
- 1 segment of ginger
- 3 red onions
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 candlenuts
- Cooking oil
How to make:
- Wash the rice then put it in the rice cooker along with the coconut milk, lime juice and pandan leaves. Wait until cooked.
- Set aside the cooked rice first.
- Heat the oil, then stir-fry ingredients such as onions, candlenuts, sugar, salt, turmeric, ginger, galangal and bay leaves. Stir until smooth and emit a fragrant aroma.
- After the stir is cooked, add the chicken and cook until cooked.
- Then, shred the cooked chicken and add it to the cooked rice.
- Nasi liwet Solo is ready to be served.
